Grassfield is a perfect 10-0 against Indian River since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will host the Braves at 5:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grassfield has seven straight wins, Indian River has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Grassfield's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Smithfield 10-0. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cydney Lafon, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was EG Hatcher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Oscar Smith hit Indian River with a four-run first inning two weeks ago, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Indian River saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anisa Carson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was Carson's first of the season. Milan Johnson was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Grassfield pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Indian River, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Indian River's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Grassfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. It's a different story for Indian River, though, as they've only averaged .191. Will they be able to contain Grassfield's hitters?
Everything went Grassfield's way against Indian River in their previous meeting on April 3rd, as Grassfield made off with a 12-0 victory. Do the Grizzlies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
