At the plate, Sofia Easterhaus was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Dylan Todd was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
Westfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Western only posted a batting average of .045.
Westfield's win bumped their record up to 17-10-1. As for Western, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-9.
Coming up, Westfield will face off against Carroll at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Rocks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
