The Clear Creek Wildcats lost against the Dickinson Gators back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Clear Creek took a hard 65-48 fall against Dickinson. Clear Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Qasim Boyd was a one-man wrecking crew for Dickinson as he scored 27 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The matchup was Boyd's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Chong, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Clear Creek's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10. As for Dickinson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-16.
Clear Creek will head out on the road to face off against Clear Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clear Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 619th, while Clear Creek is ranked 309th). As for Dickinson, they will be playing at home against Clear Brook at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clear Brook is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
