The Western Wayne Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Dunmore Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dunmore took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Western Wayne, who comes in off a win.
Western Wayne took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Lakeland.
Western Wayne walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Abbie Washine and Phoebe Schmitt were among the main playmakers for Western Wayne as the former had 44 assists and the latter had six aces. Those 44 assists gave Washine a new career-high. Kyleigh Turner also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Western Wayne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Dunmore suffered their biggest defeat since September 4th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Abington Heights.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-21, 25-11.
Despite the loss, Dunmore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elena Piepoli had 20 digs.
Western Wayne now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Dunmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Western Wayne has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 15.2 aces per game.
