 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memorial Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Johnkeria Miles, who  dropped  a double-double on 18  points and 18  boards. Miles' evening made it three games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Nyla Edwards, who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 15  rebounds.
 Several Buccaneers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Addie Taylor, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and nine  rebounds. Taylor has been hot recently, having  posted eight or more  boards the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zariyah Henry, who  posted six  points in addition to ten  boards and three  steals.
The  victory was  the third in a row for Memorial Day, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Bridges Prep,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Memorial Day will square off against Savannah Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Memorial Day has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Bridges Prep, they will face off against John Paul II at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
