Chambers Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over Lakeside School. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chambers Academy.
Meanwhile, Abbeville Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 52-51 to Lakeside School. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Abbeville Christian Academy in their matchups with Lakeside School: they've now lost five in a row.
Chambers Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Chambers Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Abbeville Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 58-48.
