Basketball Recap: Trinity Extends Winning Streak to Four

Trinity waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Palatine Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 45-30. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Pirates are ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Palatine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Trinity won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Charles East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Palatine, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Glenbard East at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
