Gill St. Bernard's put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They claimed a resounding 84-55 win over Trenton Catholic Academy at home. Given Gill St. Bernard's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the are ranked 51st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ridge can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 50-46 victory over Immaculata.
Gill St. Bernard's pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
