Bear Lake had won three straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 16-4 to make it four. They skirted past the Marsh Valley Eagles 10-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 back in March.
Brielle Romrell was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyten Crockett, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Caleigh Beard was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
