Football Recap: Pickerington North Piles Up the Points Against Central Crossing

Pickerington North came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Central Crossing Comets, posting a 63-0 win. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 29.7 points per game.

A big part of Pickerington North's win came down to the chemistry between Jarin Mock and his top target Kymani Johnson. Mock threw for 152 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes while Johnson picked up 103 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Johnson's longest reception was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

Pickerington North's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Central Crossing, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
