Old Suwanee Christian came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Trinity Prep 52-25 on the road. Given Old Suwanee Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Lions are ranked 496th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Peoples Baptist Academy humbled the Eagles with a 44-13 victory. Winning may never get old, but Peoples Baptist Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Peoples Baptist Academy can attribute much of their success to Lindsey St. Cyr, who scored 16 points, and Emma Satterfield, who scored 18 points. St. Cyr has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times she's played.
Old Suwanee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Old Suwanee Christian took their win against the Knights in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 57-35. With Old Suwanee Christian ahead 39-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
