Greenville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They took a  blow against the South Pike Eagles, falling  58-0.
  Dondra Turner Jr had an outrageously good game for South Pike as he threw for 78 yards and three  TDs on only seven passes, and also rushed for 42 yards and one  touchdown. That's the most  passing yards  Turner Jr has posted since back in October of 2024.  Micah Nickerson was in the mix  too, providing South Pike with one score.
Greenville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Pike, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
 Coming up, Greenville Christian will venture away from home to  challenge Marshall Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for South Pike, they will welcome Jefferson County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
