Baseball Game Preview: Neshaminy Skins vs. Council Rock North Indians

For the second straight game, Neshaminy will face off against Council Rock North. The Skins will square off against the Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neshaminy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Neshaminy beat Council Rock North 9-6. That's two games straight that the Skins have won by exactly three runs.

Chase Bonner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bonner was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Neshaminy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

In other pitching news, Jared Kligerman looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Anthony Kurley, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Nocito, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Council Rock North has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Neshaminy, their record now sits at 5-3.
