Football Recap: Pennsauken's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Pennsauken and Shawnee squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pennsauken had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 28-12 to the Renegades. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Pennsauken lost, don't look at Randall Blount. Despite the final result, he rushed for 230 yards while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Blount's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.

Leading Shawnee to victory were Cole Anderson and Brett Lundberg. Anderson rushed for 223 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, while Lundberg rushed for 131 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Lundberg has posted since back in October of 2024.

Pennsauken's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Shawnee, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Pennsauken does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shawnee, they will challenge Winslow Township at 1:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Renegades will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
