Donnita Wass made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Dayton let Lisinita Tulimafua-Curran and Macie Hannum run wild.
