Wilder is 0-10 against Glenns Ferry since April of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Wildcats will welcome the Pilots at 4:00 p.m. Wilder is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.7 runs per game this season.
Wilder is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Garden Valley.

M. Lopez was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of A. Scott, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glenns Ferry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over Rimrock on Wednesday. The Pilots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by seven runs or more this season.
Taylor Martinez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Martinez was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Marlee Mason was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Glenns Ferry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They are a perfect 16-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Glenns Ferry has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. As for Wilder, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Wilder has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Glenns Ferry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Wilder might still be hurting after the 15-5 loss they got from Glenns Ferry when the teams last played back in April. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
