 On Greenwood Christian's side,  Tait Jackson looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Kade Heaton, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Will Patterson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Whitmire's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Greenwood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-1.
 Whitmire will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Thornwell at 6:00  p.m. Whitmire is facing Thornwell at the right time seeing as Thornwell is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Greenwood Christian, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Spartanburg Day at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Greenwood Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season.
