LaGrange Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Flint River Academy with points to spare, taking the game 42-24. Despite the win, that was the fewest points LaGrange Academy has scored all season.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mylie Meadows, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meadows has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacee Matheny, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
LaGrange Academy's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Flint River Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Coincidentally, LaGrange Academy and Flint River Academy will both be playing St. George's the next time they take the court. Flint River Academy will head out to face St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while LaGrange Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
