The team also got some help courtesy of Perry Cole, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs' 31-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Longview on Tuesday, falling 80-48.
Palestine's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sulphur Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
