Dakota Valley's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 22 first-half points. West Central countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 22-7 going into the half. Dakota Valley almost let the matchup get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. The defeat dropped West Central's record to 3-4.
Dakota Valley will be playing at home against Lennox at at 7:00 PM next week. Lennox are limping into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for West Central, they will face off against McCook Central/Montrose. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
