Keegan Pierce gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Thursday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Wood is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-10 otherwise.
