Riverview has struggled against Serra Catholic recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Serra Catholic was led to victory by Isiah Petty and Owen Dumbroski. Petty scored 24 points along with seven assists and six rebounds, while Dumbroski went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points and 2 assists. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Petty has scored at least 25% of Serra Catholic's points. Pete Burke was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Serra Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverview will face off against Leechburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Leechburg is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. As for Serra Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Aquinas Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
