The contest was Watkins' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Khameron Snow, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Canton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Ridgeland will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Brandon is ranked 27th, while Ridgeland is ranked 33rd). As for Canton, they will head out on the road to face off against Germantown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
