It was a good run, but the Ridgeland Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 54-41 to Canton. Ridgeland has not had much luck with Canton recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stevent Watkins, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. The contest was Watkins' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Khameron Snow, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Canton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Ridgeland will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Brandon is ranked 27th, while Ridgeland is ranked 33rd). As for Canton, they will head out on the road to face off against Germantown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
