In other batting news, Jack Owenby was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Grady Grubaugh was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Altus hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Chickasha struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Altus suffered a grim 18-10 defeat to Chickasha in their previous meeting back in April of 2018. Can Altus avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
