Punxsutawney extended their postseason success on Monday against Somerset. They walked away with  a   4-1  victory over the Eagles. The  win was familiar territory for the Chucks, who have now won six  matches in a row.
 Nevin Day spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Punxsutawney's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Lucas Mennitti, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Mennitti a new career-high.
Punxsutawney's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Somerset,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-3.
