The Chickasha Fighting Chicks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Norman at home and fell 64-37. While losing is never fun, Chickasha can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Norman is ranked 85th).
Norman was led to victory by Ady Hybl and Keeley Parks. Hybl scored 22 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Parks scored 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Parks has scored at least 25% of Norman's points. Mckinzi Maddocks was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Chickasha's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Norman, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
