When it comes to explaining why Elma lost, one person who can't be blamed is AJ Holmes. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Cason Seaberg, who scored eight points.
The Dalles has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Elma, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.
The Dalles will be home for the holidays to greet Dallas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elma is on the road again on Friday and play against Madras at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th.
