Berean Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Copeland, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. The game was Copeland's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Claiborne, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Grace Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Berean Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Grace Baptist Academy and Maryville Christian will round out the year against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at. One thing working in Maryville Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Berean Christian, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Knoxville A at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. Knoxville A is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
