On Friday, Heartland didn't have too much trouble with Giltner on the road as they won 35-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heartland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allie Boehr, who scored 5 points along with 4 steals. Boehr is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emerysn Oswald, who scored 5 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Heartland back to even at 2-2. As for Giltner, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Heartland will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Riverside is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Giltner, they will head out on the road to face off against Nebraska Lutheran on Tuesday.
