Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Front Range Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hadyn Woods, who scored 11 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Woods has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Jaques, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and eight steals.
Meanwhile, Union Colony Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Bishop Machebeuf at home by a decisive 43-29 margin.
Front Range Baptist's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Union Colony Prep, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Front Range Baptist didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Union Colony Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 27-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Front Range Baptist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
