Desert Hot Springs (Calif.) upset

T Armstrong, who rushed for five touchdowns. Thanks to the stand out performance the senior now has 17 touchdowns on the season.
After taking the lead on a Armstrong touchdown run in the second quarter, the Golden Eagles led 18-14 at the half.
Desert Hot Springs grew its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Armstrong touchdown run.
The Trojans came in giving up 16.0 points per game this season. Yucca Valley had a hard time against Desert Hot Springs' offense, who entered the game scoring 13.8 points per game.
The victory avenged Desert Hot Springs' close 37-34 loss to YV last season.
The win was a nice bounce back for Desert Hot Springs, which lost to Twentynine Palms last week, 21-13.
Yucca Valley (7-2) will play a De Anza game against Twentynine Palms next week, while Desert Hot Springs (2-7) will take on Shadow Hills also in a De Anza game.
