Blackman is 10-0 against Siegel since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Blackman Blaze will head out on the road to take on the Siegel Stars at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Blackman is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Siegel in Tennessee (Blackman is ranked 37th, while Siegel is ranked 220th).
Last Tuesday, Blackman's game was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Rockvale by a score of 49-38.
Meanwhile, Siegel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 50-32 fall against Mount Juliet.
Blackman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Siegel, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Blackman against Siegel when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 47-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blackman since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
