The Royalton-Hartland Rams will square off against the Oakfield-Alabama Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Royalton-Hartland will be strutting in after a win while Oakfield-Alabama will be coming in after a loss.
Royalton-Hartland entered their tilt with Medina with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Royalton-Hartland had just enough and edged Medina out 43-41.
Royalton-Hartland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Remington Albee led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Albee posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Dan Aquilina, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Oakfield-Alabama pushed their score all the way to 65 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Notre Dame by a score of 68-65. Oakfield-Alabama has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Royalton-Hartland's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Oakfield-Alabama, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Royalton-Hartland came up short against Oakfield-Alabama in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, falling 69-56. Can Royalton-Hartland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
