Bauxite's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mayflower Eagles an 11-0 shutout. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Bauxite now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mayflower, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Bauxite didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Palestine-Wheatley on the 27th. As for Mayflower, they have also already played their next game, a 19-4 loss against De Queen on the 27th.
