The Morristown-Beard Crimson's's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top against Fieldston by a score of 27-14. Given Morristown-Beard's advantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 58th in New Jersey, while Fieldston is ranked 383rd in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Although Fieldston took the loss, they still got scores from Andrew Kaplan and Marcus Cooper-Leary.
Morristown-Beard's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fieldston, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-4.
Morristown-Beard will take on Rye Country Day at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Rye Country Day will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Fieldston, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against The Pingry School at 2:00 p.m.
