The third road match was the charm for Princeton, as they earned their first away win of the season. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the North Branch Vikings on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for North Branch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Princeton is taking a road trip to face off against St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Saints' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Branch, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Cloquet at 4:30 p.m.
