 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Troy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 429  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Wyalusing Valley entered their  game against South Williamsport  on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Wyalusing Valley fell just short of South Williamsport by a score of  21-19. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now lost three in a row.
 Troy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Wyalusing Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Everything came up roses for Troy against Wyalusing Valley in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, as the  team secured  a  41-7 win. In that  match, Troy amassed a halftime lead of  35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
