The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mountain Ridge, who defeated 99th ranked Allegany, 35-14.
Princeton Day Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 157 from 215 this week, the biggest jump in Freelance. Princeton Day Academy was able to move up by besting KIPP College Prep 28-6.
Kody Osselburn provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Northern lost to Keyser.
Osselburn was the best running back in the league this week. In 2 carries, he ran for 62 yards as the Huskies fell to the Golden Tornado. Teammate Trevon Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.
6-foot-4 quarterback David Sills of Eastern Christian Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 783. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jones. The Northern star has 4 catches for 32 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Hancock takes on Clear Spring. As it stands, the Panthers are in sixth, while the Blazers are in 10th.
Northern fell to Keyser 47-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Osselburn in the defeat.
