After losing to Grantsville the last time they met, Stansbury decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Stansbury Stallions won by a run and slipped past the Grantsville Cowboys 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

Beckham Rowley was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rowley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

Rowley wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Palmer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another was Kai Astill, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Stansbury kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grantsville only managed four hits.

Stansbury now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grantsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Stansbury and Grantsville will both be playing Pine View the next time they take the field. Stansbury will head out to face Pine View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Grantsville will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
