Ashland has gone 8-2 against Medway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Clockers are taking a road trip to challenge the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ashland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over Dover-Sherborn on Monday. The Clockers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jared Grunbaum was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Michael Schreiber was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Luke O'Brien, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.
Medway came out on top against Westwood on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 8-2 victory. Eight seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Matt Olynciw spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Johnny Farrell, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Medway has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Ashland, their record is now 5-6.
Ashland came out on top in a nail-biter against Medway in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Clockers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
