The Booker T. Washington Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Manassas Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Booker T. Washington fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hamilton on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 85-77 to the Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (66), Booker T. Washington still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Manassas' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 61-19 loss at the hands of Middle College. While losing is never fun, Manassas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while Middle College is ranked 96th).
Booker T. Washington has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Manassas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Booker T. Washington beat Manassas 68-56 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. Will Booker T. Washington repeat their success, or does Manassas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
