Jasper won the last time they faced Lead Hill and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jasper Pirates walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Lead Hill Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

When it comes to explaining why Lead Hill lost, don't look at Nolan Turner. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Turner a new career-high. Noah Royce was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Jasper is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for Lead Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 22-13 record.
