A well-balanced attack led the Limon Badgers over the Colorado Springs School Kodiaks in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Limon blew the Kodiaks out of the water with a 56-8 final score. With Limon ahead 28-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
It was another big night for Jentri Marx, who scored ten points along with five steals. She hasn't dropped below three steals for 12 straight games. Katelyn Tacha was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Limon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Colorado Springs School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Limon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Rams at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th. Merino will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Colorado Springs School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cubs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Simla presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Kodiaks in Colorado (the Cubs are ranked 77th, while the Kodiaks are ranked 265th).
