The Treasure Coast Titans won the last time they faced the Melbourne Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Treasure Coast came out on top against Melbourne by a score of 52-45. Given Treasure Coast's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Melbourne is ranked 394th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Tyson Wilson, who scored 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bek Fleurissaint, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Treasure Coast has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Melbourne, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Treasure Coast will head out on the road to face off against Martin County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Martin County is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Melbourne, they will be playing at home against Heritage at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
