Lincoln has gone 9-1 against Mission recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Bears at 11:30 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Lincoln's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Balboa on Saturday. They took a blow against the Buccaneers, falling 42-0. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-26 heartbreaker at the hands of Lowell. The Bears were up 20-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Lincoln's record is now 2-7. As for Mission, their record now sits at 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln against Mission in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 44-6 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
