Southampton has gone 9-1 against Windsor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dukes at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Southampton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Sussex Central with a sharp 12-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Adin Brown and Levi Butler were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Brown pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Butler didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. At bat, Brown got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Butler earned two runs and two stolen bases.
In other batting news, Kingston Brooks was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. River Barnes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Southampton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Windsor entered their tilt with Franklin on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They didn't even let the Broncos on the board, marking their second-straight 7-0 shutout. The Dukes' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.
Southampton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
