Even though the Flowers Jaguars scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, the Wise Pumas still came out on top. Wise came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jaguars and snuck past 67-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wise.
Rasan Golatt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Obase, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Wise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Flowers, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wise will take on the Eagles at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday. As for Flowers, they will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Suitland is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
