Basketball Game Preview: DASH United vs. Oak Forest Warriors

DASH is 0-5 against Oak Forest since December of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The United will host the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in DASH's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Friday, DASH strolled past Fayetteville O with points to spare, taking the game 75-59. The United haven't had any issues with the Outliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Carter Adams, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 34 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 18 points per game. Jason Judd was another key player, shooting 43% from the field en route to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Oak Forest didn't have too much trouble with Hilltop Christian on Friday as they won 54-38.

Oak Forest's win came from a few key players DASH will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ryder Zingelmann, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Hunter, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 16 points and three steals.

Oak Forest's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for DASH, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. DASH hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 74 points per game. However, it's not like Oak Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
