Pinkston posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 win over Wilmer-Hutchins. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Pinkston has posted against Wilmer-Hutchins since January 15, 2020.
Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Pinkston, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.
Roosevelt was taken down by Pinkston 83-54 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Roosevelt was down 47-20.
