Devaje Jackson was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Gray, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Pinkston posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 win over Wilmer-Hutchins. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Pinkston has posted against Wilmer-Hutchins since January 15, 2020.
Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Pinkston, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.
Roosevelt was taken down by Pinkston 83-54 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Roosevelt was down 47-20.
