Wright wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Cano, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. Kole White was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Ramona pushed their record up to 20-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Palo Verde Valley, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-12-1.
Ramona's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's game. The Bulldogs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Palo Verde Valley, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Ramona continue to outrun the ball?
